Satyricon started imitate themselve,if we compare music to speech
Satyricon is like a canvasser who repeats the learned text advertising their product.

I thought that last album is so weak that new can be only better
but now I'm not sure.

In this song nothing happens,track is like a never ending intro.
I'm waiting for the climax...waiting,waiting and nothing happens.

Satyricon needs a new musician to save themselves.
Like COF, new musicians saved this band from death.

Satyr is a great showman but a poor composer,all because of Burnout Syndrome.
He should take a few lessons from professional music teacher
and play with someone else, completely different genres
because at the moment he sounds like someone who play on guitar recently and want imitate Satyricon.

Maybe Anselmo does not need much to be happy.

The damage control is just pathetic. Never expected they'd sink that low. The originally uploaded video had attracted lots of critical comments; now it's just: "Satyricooon!", "Coool!" "I love you". No doubt their target are teenagers. Like vosmidesijatye aptly put it:

Chasm, ну, звук у норвежцев со времён "Volcano" особо и не меняется (хотя тут я не имею ничего против), а вот материал с каждым альбомом становится более простым, прямолинейным и скудным на какие-то интересные ходы или аранжировки. С таким подходом они в натуре будут через пару альбомов гонять один и тот же риф под ленивый однорукий перестук и хрип "блэк скай ин май ай". Верните времена "To the Mountains", "Fuel For Hatred" и "Angstridden" например.
От "Deep Calleth Upon Deep", в целом, сложилось впечатление, что Сатир и Фрост просто решили поджемовать по приколу (лирическое содержимое тоже скорее похоже на экспромт, нежели на продуманную и щепетильную работу с текстом) во время распития пары-тройки пива в уикенд на фьорде. Хрен с ним, с Сигурдом, но Фросту, как мне кажется, должно быть стыдно играть такую бодягу при его умениях. Полноформатный альбом я, конечно, не упущу из виду, но если на роль сингла выбрали самый козырный трек, то тут я даже и не знаю уже. Такие дела.

If you read through the forum I linked above, you will get a clearer idea that Satyr and Frost have been in a S/M relationship for a long time.
