Norwegian black/thrash metallers The Konsortium, feat. guitarist Teloch (Mayhem, ex-Gorgoroth, ex-1349) and drummer Dirge Rep (Orcustus, ex-Enslaved, ex-Aura Noir), re-emrge with a new studio album after seven years since their Norway-charting, self-titled debut album.
"Rogaland" was mixed and mastered by Gomez at Orgone Studios (Paradise Lost, Ulver, Primordial) and produced by F.G. Fugelli. The cover artwork and layout were designed by Trine+Kim (Ulver, Darkthrone).

This is not really avant garde but more technical actually, and better than most of the releases in the style nowadays. There's a Thorns vibe in it. I am happy they are not into the true bullshit as they can afford to step up everything technically.
