Если бы не эта "маркиза" у микрофона, может, ещё и пошло бы фоном, а так...мимо
Да, местами услышал вбросы сточного же последнего Therion )) - 4-ый трек это нечто, ещё и дискотеку впердолили
Там бы вокалёрш нормальных в студию и получился бы хороший музон
Дискотека эпизодически, впрочем, и в других треках
Альбом явно экспериментальный, з[мат->бан]хался маэстро одни и те же риффы гонять

Эллинор старается уже третий альбом (побьет рекорд Энкель или не побьет?..), и ее дебют в 2014-м был... спорным, скажем так. На прошлогоднем было найдено хоть какое-то подобие "золотой середины", после чего выяснилось, что она может издавать иные звуки, помимо непрерывного "скрежета", и даже зачастую была вполне в кассу. На этом дела обстоят примерно так же, хотя тоска по временам лихим нашего глубокоуважаемого лысого бубна с бородой-косичкой, видать, все же не совсем оставила, так что малая толика раздражителей в духе 2014-го под шумок просочилась и сюда. В терпимых объемах, но все-таки.

I don't know... I kind of got tired of the band and their overlong compositions where not too many things happen, as a matter of fact. It's some form of extreme progressive metal that doesn't sound too exciting anymore provided that the band have started releasing albums too often now...

But the female vocals are good, no doubt about that, and they are the main reason why one should give this opus at least a single listen.

Вынужден согласиться: альбом оказался вполне ожидаемой тягомотиной, которую не спасают даже редкие мелодические вкрапления с вокалом Эллинор. Тексты (из того, что расслышал) тоже бред сивой кобылы. Такой материал можно как Сенмут клепать, по 5 альбомов в год. 3/10
