Не увлекаюсь инструментальными альбомами, но в этом случае вокал будет даже лишним инструментом. Песни по 8-10 мин пролетают на одном дыхании.

We kept everything oldschool for the most part. Drums got tracked in Texas on old Jensen Board I believe it was same console as one used on Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power. Guitars and Bass we used Tube Amps, Tube analog outboard gear, Analog Mic Pres and we had Freddy Gonzalez Master it Analog at #thelabmasteringroom. He did a phenomenal job.
We wanted the Feel of Aghora 1 but with the Power of Aghora 2 and Beyond!

Illogicist, ну сейчас под вывеской Cynic Масвидаль именно что Aeon Spoke и играет на мой взгляд, а GK это Мэлоун, а ему похоже всё интереснее преподавать и теоретизировать чем играть, хотя с Cynic записывается да и всё на этом как я понимаю.

А я вот присоединюсь к тем, кто считает, что она добавляла шарма.

Правда, более всего я группу ценю именно за своеобразное сочетание "зубастых риффов" и циниковской мелодики на 2006-м, женский вокал тут скорее дополнительный приятственный фактор.

По мне, так по большей части скучный материал. Последний трек только выделяется засчет реально яркой мелодики - вот всю бы пластинку в таком духе. Наверное, имеется смысл все же предыдущие послушать, может, там интереснее.
