I'am still on the edge about this one.. they are from my country so i give them bonus points. But i've read a review where the autor was like "this sounds so vampiric and medieval"- Honestly i can't hear that.. Something like Krolok from Slovenia captures the essence of vampiric and medieveal brutality/atmospheric a lot more. This is a good Black Metal release, don't get me wrong...it's just nothing out of the ordinary or special. Honestly i think thats the "problem" with a lot of Black Metal bands from my country....they lack a certain direction that identifies them and sets them apart. Besides Abigor and Summoning of course.
This is a nice listen for inbetween but nothing more (at least in my opinion). Oh and also..the Cover is great but i don't think it fits the music very well.

Хотел бы такое очень сильно услышать на кассете .Просто посидеть и не поседеть под такую музыку.
Тут мне недавно уважаемый мною Вип в личной переписке доказывал типа ,,Влад какие кассеты ,ты такое говоришь не пойму тебя ,смысла нет...,,,
Смысл очень прост кассеты не заменишь даже винилом если слушать именно треш или блек .Только их .Первое-аналоговый звук ,второе - 16,5-17.5 спектры на кассетах .Только под такие спектры по реалу звучит истый блек ,ну или хть бы не модерн.Поэтому кассеты сейчас в моде уже года три -четыре и стоят под винил некоторые официальные.
Альбом хорош.
Но хотелось продолжение дебютной епишки где и был только on Tape format, с их безумным вторым одноименным треком Morbid Majesty.

На обложке обратил внимание на то, как чуваку свинья писюн нализывает, а он с такой тоской на нее смотрит. Мол, неинтересно мне уже такое.

Это про современный метал на самом деле. Все уже играно-переиграно давно и что-то цепляющее с каждым годом найти все сложнее. И не таких свиней видали, в общем.

Первый прослушанный мной релиз 2021 года. Если честно - очень средний альбом, лишенный выразительных черт. Слышно наследие шведской школы 90-х на манер Dissection, но в музыке нет магии. Набор приемов есть, но они не высекают из гитар адское пламя, лишь набор риффов, инспирированных слушательским опытом. Атмосферы средневековья не замечено, как не замечено хоть какой-нибудь атмосферы. На альбоме очень плохой продакшн саунда, все инструменты разваливаются на части, нет целостного плотного саунда. Еще и на виниле собрались издаваться... Монетизировать этот хлам смысла нет.

Yes, there are only a few interesting bands from Austria. Abigor and Summoning are the best. There are also Amestigon, Hagzissa, Kringa. I remember The Call of the Four Gates and old Golden Dawn as well.

There is almost no medieval atmosphere here. Beside the cover art, but it doesn't really fit in their music. Just a good effort and nothing more. Probably it will be forgotten very soon.

Предыдущий был офигенный, и как раз-таки с той самой магией. Как-то очень удачно у них вышел этот сплав Nifelheim с Dissection. Этот показался слабее, меньше стало трэшевых элементов, больше уходов в мелоблэк/дэт. Надо будет переслушать повнимательней все же.

Этот альбом открыл мой 2021 год, в плане прослушивания новинок конечно. Материал который представлен здесь, очень сильно отдает дань уважения шведским грандам двадцати, а то и двадцати пяти летней давности. Мелодичные гитары правят здесь бал, скорости варьируются от быстрых до средних, хотя медленные "куски" также в наличии. Особой трэшевости здесь не сильно много, почти нет тут ярко выраженных хлестких риффов и пронзительных соляков. А те соло что здесь имеются в небольшом количестве и скорее навевают мысли о слащавом хэви (ну, не в обиду последним сказано будет). А вот заскоков чуть ли не в мелодик дэт имеется предостаточно. Звук какой то глуховатый, мне не хватает тяжести и жёсткости. Вокал под данное музыкальное полотно подходит, но сильного отклика он у меня как у слушателя не вызывает. Как и весь альбом в целом. Назвать Of Sleep And Death провальным не хочется, а вот что он затянут, достаточно невыразителен и к концу начинает откровенно надоедать, это я для себя отметил как факт. В начале года послушаешь его и к концу навряд ли вспомнишь.

А глядя на оформление этого альбома постоянно проскальзывают ассоциации с очень интересными товарищами Malokarpatan. Но у них что по музыке, что по звуку, да и по реализации творческих идей все очень хорошо. А вот Transilvania со своим новым лонгплэйем как то очень средне.

Послушал целых два раза. Альбом настолько шаблонный и проходной насколько это вообще возможно. А ведь The Night Of Nights был как минимум интересен и слушая его чувствовалось что банда подавала надежды. Но не случилось...
