Лучший альбом из того что я слышал у них, разнообразный, в меру мелодичный, в меру паверный, в меру хэвийный, жалко что хитовости не достает, все как то обыденно в итоге, в 2005 вполне зашло бы, а сейчас уже не цепляет, только титулку можно оставить.

Первые 4 альбома застолбили за группой место одного из лидеров трушного и олдскульного хэви-пауэра. Пятый же Devil's Ground показал, что данная концепция себя исчерпала, и нужно двигаться дальше. Уже первая Demons and Angels, несмотря на типичную для открывашки альбома PF бодрячковость, демонстрирует нам уход от штампов Прист к звучанию, куда более близкому к современному пауэр-металу. Заводная Rollercoaster подхватывает эту инициативу. А вот на Seven Seals стоит остановиться особо, ибо эта эпичная баллада - жемчужина не только альбома, но и дискографии группы в целом. Не побоюсь этого слова, гениальная песня с потрясающей вокальной мелодией и отличной аранжировкой. Почти столь же хороша бодрая и архимелодичная Evil Spell. Среднетемповая, но зубастая The Immortal Ones вскользь напоминает нам о ранних альбомах группы своим риффом, но не мелодией. Diabolus - почти 8-минутный эпик с восточными гармониями, характерный по мелодии и звучанию для пауэра нулевых. All for One - эпик аналогичной продолжительности, но уже скучнее и банальнее. Коротенькая Carniwar созвучна треку №5 в плане пристоподобного риффинга в припеве, а вот куплетная часть мистически мелодична. A Question of Honour - ещё один эпик, который является кавером на проект Мэта Синнера, куда более древний, чем сабжевая группа. Оригинала я, к своему стыду, не слышал, но эта интерпретация звучит весьма хорошо. А вот концовку провалили: ума не приложу, зачем такой свежий и яркий альбом было завершать настолько блёклой эстрадной балладой, как In Memory.

Семь Печатей явили нам другой, мелодичный и эпичный, оркестровый и современный Primal Fear. Олдскульщики негодуют. Меломаны радуются.

Ништячный альбом. Слушая его, уже почти не думаешь на кого они похожи / не похожи, так как песни классные. Однозначно застрянет в моем плейлисте. Композицию Seven Seals поставил на рипит и прогнал три раза подряд при первом же прослушивании. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/20.gif)
