Слушая первую вещь Comforting Prejudice, я поразился просто-таки охренительному качеству записи и звучания. Плюс к этому, техника-то у ребят не то чтобы хорошая - великолепнейшая техника! А про ударные можно сказать отдельно, и вот так: ударные - это расчёт крупнокалиберного пулемёта! Даже и не верится, что один человек способен так "стрелять" - с обеих рук, плюс к тому же с обеих ног. В стилистическом плане мы имеем честь здесь наблюдать brutal/techno-death. Мелодичности, собственно, не получаем совсем. Единственно, во 2-й композиции Profitable Killcount ритм-соло-гитары как-то более мелодичны и переливчаты. Очень впечатляет залихватский техно-брутал Totalitarian Hypnosis и брутал-"колыбельная" Regurgitated Lullaby for The Born Dead - да уж, таким глубоким гроулом только детей спать укладывать! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Лишь последняя вещица Nevermore (Не верь морю?) не показалась мне лучше других... но, в общем, и не хуже! Сильная ипишка сильной группы. 8.5/10

Интересная работа, первое, что я услышал у канадцев.
Впечатления самые положительные, как сейчас, так и раньше.

Олимпийская сборная по техно-дету с попыткой установления новых рекордов. Для музыки характерно стремление максимально использовать тремоло в противовес аккордовым последовательностям. Тремоло много, и звучит оно нарочито яростно, что делает почерк Beneath the Massacre очень узнаваемым. То и дело возникают проблески мелодизма, особенно явно он считывается в композиции 'Profitable Killcount'. Впрочем, на более поздних работах мелодики больше, здесь же всё это довольно завуалировано.
Запомнился момент в середине композиции 'Totalitarian Hypnosis' - замедление со сменой гармонии (01.14).
