Без сомнения, самый лучший их альбом.
Помнится, как в 92 году появилась эта штука - мы были в восторге, так ждали следующего альбома... а он как-то разочаровал.
Не было уже у них далее такого вдохновения, да..

Э-э-х... На мой взгляд это их самый брутальный и техничный альбом. Вступление отличное, сразу представляешь себе ад! Именно таким и должен быть дэт - жесткий, напористый, безкомпромиссный и не лишенный мелодий.

Звук, конечно, на любителя. Но он мне понравился где-то к 4-му треку. Особенно смачно звучат гитары, как-то жирно и в то же время можно сравнить с ручьем. Звучание ударных мне так же импонирует, хотя рабочий барабан, настроенный подобным образом, временами норовит приглушить бочку. Темп довольно высок, что радует, т.к. в последнее время слушал среднетемповые альбомы, за исключением Legion. Здесь чуть менее злобно, зато больше мрачной атмосферы. Соло не звучат инородно, используются не часто. В то же время немало интересных ходов, но сейчас с ходу и не вспомню, надо переслушивать не один раз. Могу только сказать, что Perpetual Damnation - достойнейшее завершение альбома, пожалуй самый лучший замыкающий трек, который я когда-либо слышал (аутро не в счет, имеются ввиду именно песни). Вступление и эпилог тоже подобраны крайне удачно, это при всей моей нелюбви к человеческим крикам и стонам в аудиозаписях (обычно дико бесят!).
