Опа. Переслушал альбомец и просто в ауте. Почему-то тогда, в 1996 году, альбом меня не порвал. Зато порвал сейчас. Просто потрясающе. Напоминает по энергетике ранних Gamma Ray и классику Helloween. Вот только недоумение - почему в качестве главного взноса Stratovarius в пауэр названо невзрачное "Четвёртое измерение", а не "Эпизод"?
Альбом действительно ключевой для Stratovarius - здесь можно увидеть истоки дальнейших работ группы, в том числе и демки, которая вышла под лейблом Revolution Renaissance.

а у нас именно этот альбом пошел в массы лучше предыдущих работ банды.

В целом соглашусь – влияние и наследие «аццов» очень чувствуется. Только финны не переиграли, не повторили, не клонировали, не интерпретировали уже сыгранные темы, песни, а принесли много нового: активное, агрессивное использование в качестве мелодического инструмента клавишных (Season of Change), вплетение в музыкальную ткань элементов классических мелодий (Will the Sun Rise?, Speed of Light), хоровые элементы (Season of Change), отказ от фишек прошлых альбомов (Episode и т.д.). В итоге – тот самый диск, с которого началась активная раскрутка группы; сложное, но цельное произведение без слабых номеров.
Единственный вопрос – по размещению песен на диске: ставить после двух подряд пауэрных хитов Father Time и Will the Sun Rise? эпик Eternity и медленный инструментал Episode? Странно, ведь сбивается впечатление, темп восприятия альбома. Хотя, это – крайне субъективное впечатление.
