Эээх, навеяно темой про Нирвану..., но этот альбом, как по мне повлиял еще больше на развитие рок-музыки, причем намного больше, чем представители короткой эры гранджа. Я очень уважаю и люблю практически все творчество сабжа (разве, что introduce yourself не особо), но этот альбом самый новаторский в их дискографии, именно с приходом Паттона (возможно так совпало) коллектив максимально расширил границы своего творческого поиска - тут же есть все, что мы потом услышим на последующих альбомах FNM - Surprise, Your Dead! - в аккурат бы пришлась ко двору в King For A day... , а Edge Of The World так и просится в Angel Dust. Охарактеризовать стиль этого, да и последующих альбомов я просто не могу, да это, по-моему и не нужно. Это альбом-веха, звучащий актуально и сегодня - спустя почти 25 лет с его выхода!
