Вот и я добрался до альбома, да, рифы на самом деле убойные, музыка тяжела))) Вокал... что ж, нечто с хрипоцой, я на него как-то и внимания не обращал, пока слушал.

Никто случаем не поможет разжиться этим альбомом в лосслесс? В свое время его выкладывали на ММТ, но это было давно, и там он не сохранился. Может у кого то есть возможность поглядеть этот альбом на закрытых трекерах типа ваты. Помогите плиз.

Имхо, тут не дум с элементами сладжа, а сладж с элементами дума - тяжеленные риффы пропитаны именно сладжевыми гармониями, да и ударник играет как-то не по-металлически - особенно в Scrape это слышно...
Ну и короткие треки с чистыми гитарами, пианино, тамтамами и разными нехарактерными для металла инструментами вовсю работают на создание специфичной атмосферы альбома, разбавляя десятиминутные сладжевые "катки".
Отличная вещь.

Однако, сейчас слушать уже не могу всё же... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Как-то перестало быть моим, что ли. А может временно устал от подобного музла.
И да - это по-настоящему боевой слон, черт-побери, какой конь-то?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) Тяжесть выпирает на первые планы и компостирует ваш мозг. Несомненно, не стоит сравнивать музыку с каким-нибудь гор-брутал-дэтом, не забываем, что это - doom, и ни что иное; однако - ускорить риффы в десяток раз - получится тяжеленная дэзня, где не будет шанса на выживание никому вообще. Но сейчас - это doom, повторюсь в N-ый раз. Медленный, до безумия тягучий, немного больной и в то же время, как ни странно, достаточно лиричен (вспомнить ту же умиротворяющую Amber Vial, начало Every Flower Dies No Matter the Thorns или же Dawn). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif) Doom, doom, doom... Нетипичный, мощный, сбивающий с ног своим напором и продолжающий долбить сознание на протяжении почти часа.
8 из 10.

PS: это не дум/дэт, не атмосферик, не сладж дум, не фюнерал, не что-то ещё, это - traditional doom metal и точка.

Давненько я чего нибудь подобного вкусного, жирнющего и наваристого не слышал, это просто вынос, 2 и 6 треки бесподобны, американцы порадовали в общем!! Аплодирую стоя!! В прошлом 2019-ом году у группы состоялся реюнион, кстати, дают по штатам во всю концерты сейчас, так что думаю стоит ожидать новый материал в ближайшем будущем, по крайней мере надеюсь, хотелось бы в этом верить!! )))
