Слушал их впервые осенью 2008. Приятно слушалось. Этот альбом в особенности
Послушал сегодня вечерком, вспомнил. Альбом нравится.
Первая песня шикарна, такая мистическая и таинственная.
Среднетемповый грузящий и качественный дед-метал.
Лучший альбом Бенедиктов.
У меня здесь их музыка ассициируется с английскими древними замками и склепами. Но только в этом альбоме.Видимо и клип повлиял на воображение.

я в целом с трудом данный альбом дослушивал даже тогда) ну, ничего не поделаешь, заменить певца на Дэйва Ханта они додумались гораздо позже))
с другой стороны, на период 92-94, а также на "бастарде" получилось всё, как надо!

Конечно, альбом как-бы выпадает из общей цепочки эволюции коллектива, да и своей "серой неторопливостью" не располагает к себе слушателя.
Все же считаю его очень ценным музыкальным образчиком дета, тем более, рожденным в весьма сложное для стиля время.
Сам очень люблю (понятно, с него то и познакомился)

я познакомился с 1993, в виде кассеты morgoth/benediction с альбомами этого самого года)
а 95-й показался с ходу более "рваным", что ли, по саунду и восприятию. ну, это уж, кому как, видимо.
в любом случае, никаких погромных рецух я в то время не читал на него. а это значит, что не было причин))

Ну не вкатил почему то тембр вокала и все, так часто бывает - музло охеренное, но вокал - ни в жилу, с Асфиксом так еще было.

Альбом музыкально показался мне достаточно упрощенным по сравнению с предыдущими, особенно – «Рубиконом». Нет знакомых барабанных проходов, бласт-битов, довольно монотонный однообразный мрачный саунд. Причем в первой половине альбома что-то даже и с гитарными соло как-то напряженно вышло, как будто их нет. Negative Growth и Answer To Me вообще напомнили (в первую очередь особенно звучащим вокалом) работы Napalm Death периода 1992-1994 годов. Где-то с середины диска Benediction раскочегарились, пошли соло, ритм какой-никакой прежний повылазил, это я про Griefgiver, Denial, Path Of The Serpent, The Dreams You Dread говорю, если что. Но… тогда это звучало как некое свежее дуновение в затхлой комнате death metal, сейчас – как некий шаг вбок от генеральной линии предыдущих работ. Но (еще раз оно самое)… мне нравится. Пусть как некий эксперимент, как веха развития, просто как не самый плохой альбом 1995 года выпуска.
