Wurdulak – это идейный полудэтовый блэк старой школы в смеси с некой мистичной атмосферностью. Более того, музыка Wurdulak очень и очень напоминает старые творения Mayhem – до "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" включительно, но не так скучно и устало, как это сделал Mayhem, а побрутальнее, поразнообразнее, хотя тем самым и менее атмосферно, делая некоторый уклон в сторону примитивного, но техничного трэш-дэта, что, однако, не умаляет интересности релиза для поклонника чистого блэка. Наряду с тяжёлыми дэтовыми рывками, на альбоме звучат депрессивные мелодичные вставки, где просто акустические, а где электрогитарные бездисторшновые, и всё это – на непременно минорных аккордах, что звучит морозно и отчуждённо, полыхая спокойной ненавистью.

Альбом супер. Мощный и брутальный в инструментальном плане в то время, как на вокале тут Маньяк и Киллджой, у которых схожая манера исполнения - надрывной и ядовитый скриминг.
