SCAR SYMMETRY реально играют безупречную "свежую и жесткую форму забойного death metal без каких-либо границ", о чем написано в описании к диску. Гитарная работа выше всяческих похвал, четкий качовый ритм, навалом красивых отточенных соляков, используется два типа мужского вокала - чистый голос (чем-то напоминает маэстро Дэна Свано) и классический дэт-рык.
Стилистически музыку можно охарактеризовать, как универсальный death metal, т.е. смешение различных близких друг другу направлений death metal. Например, поклонник melodic death metal оценит эту работу также высоко, как и любитель technical death metal. При этом смещение акцентов происходит как раз засчет чередования типов вокала, т.е. использования голоса, как полноценного музыкального инструмента. Короче, название дебютного диска отражает реальное положение вещей - *Symmetric In Design*.
