20 лет мне не нравилась Обитура и тут пропёрло - в этом альбоме мне нравится абсолютно всё:

- фирменный неторопливый темп подачи,
- фирменный цеплючий музон, который стоит именовать даже не олдскулом, а скорее ретро-дэтом,
- жирнейшие "бородатые" риффы,
- незаметные, но мастерски точные соляки Сантоллы, демона проклятого кажется всеми поголовно тру-дэтстерами,
- и конечно, несомненно, всеобязательно, всенепременно этот чудесный незабываемый гипнотический голос Тарди, голос из прошлого, голос из детства... тоже кстати ФИРМЕННЫЙ..

9+/10 или всё-таки 10/10? вопрос пока открыт

Хитовость, уважаемый, это когда после 4-х кратной прослушки альбома он голове хоть немного откладывается. А когда он проходит фоном, сквозь который иногда прорезаются "чудеса" Сантоллы, я не нахожу это позитивным (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) .
А так то, да - знакомый любимый звук, мегапрейный вокал, упрощенные структуры - все на месте (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) .

As usual Obituary produce yet another, bore-rathon of dull, repetative riffs and flat production.

Those are the Obituary trademarks.

Sorry boys, I was there from day one, i traded your demos tapes way back in 1987 and you have not changed, progressed or varied your sound one tiny little bit.

I was there when James Murphy left your crappy band, and he did the right thing. He was progressing into new musical grounds and you lot refused to even write the hallowed "fourth" riff.

Really, considering the sheer range of releases that utterly blow this out of the water, it is clear this whole revival of Obituary is nothing but a blatant "cash-grab".

1st they test the waters by releasing a dead boring Tardy Brothers release. (One of the worst Death Metal releases of 2008/9) then because they sell a few nostalgic copies, they hit us with this slab of utter boredoom. Talk about milking the cow.

Dudes apart from your cool covers, you are one of the most boring (Anyone watch these dudes live???? omfg... like watching paint dry) Death Metal acts to have ever surfaced. You 1st release was the ONLY release you should of ever done. Because the rest of your work is just regurgitated bollocks.

Out of 10 i would give this 3.

Люди хотят услышать от этой команды именно тот звук, именно ту манеру подачи материала, которые вознесли её на вершину метального Олимпа. Скажем мне абсолютно не интересна целая десятилетка с 1997 по 2007 год у Тарди сотоварищи, а вот Darkest Day разрывает меня в клочья. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

Иногда они возвращаются! Мне понравилось. Типа квинтэссенция всего творчества банды. Для фэнов - в обязон! Объективно : очень хорошо, но перемывание собственных костей, чем по моему мнению, Обитура занимается после World Demise. Хотя всёже прёт!!!
