Ух ты, второе открытие за месяц (первое было Whispered)! Шведы Born Of Sin играют где-то "на грани" между МДМ'ом и мощным трад-дэтом, этот стаф может одинаково понравиться и почитателям мелодик-дэта (жёстского, правда), и любителям "мясца". То есть, короче говоря, предельно жёсткий МДМ - именно то, что лично мне и нравится! Ритмика близка к классической шведской школе, а соло-гитара не поливает почём зря, и вступает нечасто, ТОЛЬКО когда это действительно нужно. Звук - шикарный, бронебойный, а также в нём (звуке) явственно ощущается шведскость. Фронтмен - этакий брутал-Джельсомино, в смысле, вокал его подобен урагану, вышибающему волной своего голоса стёкла окон. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Ритм-секция хороша, а местами (например, в Our Infamous God) просто гениальна, драммерские бочки предельно затерзаны. Иногда дерзкие шведы, гитарист которых, кстати говоря, раньше бил по струнам в Lord Belial, уходят в чистый дэт без приставки "мелодик" (я же говорю, это всё где-то на грани) - особенно это заметно в таких вещах, как Walk With The Lord, In Sickness, Shapeshifter, Like A Wave Of Destruction... очень тяжело и очень мощно, надо сказать, практически пробрутально! Но и про шведскую мелодику иногда вспоминают - например, этот альбом стоит, видимо, послушать уже из-за рифа, начинающегося на 02:09 в финальной Stitches. Цепляет, чёрт возьми! Побольше бы именно таких моментов. 8.5/10
