Его вроде как их лейбл попросил уйти, т.к. он возродил свой проект Sturmführer, с которым собирается выступить на фошисском фестивале. Если раньше можно было делать мину и говорить что "наш вокалист больше таким не занимается", то сейчас бы уже это не проконало.

IMMOLATION guitarist Robert Vigna has revealed that the band has started working on a follow-up to 2017’s “Atonement”.

“We’re doing a part of that. We’re working on a new record now as well and we’re also going to be doing some touring in Europe, like the festivals throughout the summertime. Probably hitting Australia and Asia and possibly South America before the end of the year. Hopefully U.S. tour by the end of the year. We’re going to be busy and hopefully working up toward our new record possibly by end of the year, early next year. We got a lot going on.”

Выход намечен на лето сего года на Нуклир бласт. К довершению сказанного, они заверяют, что на 2 первых альбомах только
лишь разогревались, а теперь всех ждет олдскульно-детовый армагедец! Ну чтож, пусть горит всегда зеленый свет таким затеям (IMG:style_emoticons/default/15.gif)

Napalm death в лице Барни сообщают, что музыка к новому альбому уже готова, тексты на 50%.
На новом альбоме по прежнему терзает струны Митч Харрис, но на концертах его заменяет Джон Кук.
Ситуация с Митчем такая же туманная, как и пару лет назад. Очень похоже на историю с Малеволентами,
пара семейных утрат, нужно разобраться с собой и т.д. и т.п. Геморр, блин.
Ну хоть альбом скоро будет.

Проект BLACK EARTH, в состав которого входят бывшие и нынешние участники ARCH ENEMY, исполняющие материал первых трёх альбомов группы, записали два новых трека, которые будут включены в компиляцию ремастированных песен из первых альбомов.

Michael Amott: «Вместе с Trooper Entertainment мы отобрали самые любимые песни с первых трёх альбомов, в записи которых принимали участие эти парни, — с Johan'ом на вокале и Chris'ом на гитаре. И мы собрали сборник из материала 1990-х. Он прошёл ремастеринг здесь, в Японии. Я был на сессии мастеринга на прошлой неделе, и всё звучит просто невероятно. Это действительно сделало из новых треков... оно дало им новую жизнь. И потом мы записали две новые темы в Швеции. Так что мы немного были заняты этим процессом.

Было довольно сложно собрать всех вместе, чтобы это сделать. Но мы написали два трека, один из них я сочинил с Chris'ом, и один придумал сам. Это "Burn On The Flame" и "Life Infernal" — два совершенно новых трека, которые отчасти в том стиле, в каком мы привыкли, как-то так. И они получились действительно потрясающими. Мы вернулись в студию Fredman Fredrik'a Nordström'а, где были записаны первые три диска. Поэтому мы работали с оригинальным продюсером. И он занимался сведением, и всё звучит очень мощно — очень круто»

По словам Michael'a, запись BLACK EARTH была «очень, очень странным» опытом, потому что «мы просто стартовали с того, где когда-то закончили. Примерно через час или около того мы так же шутили, и у нас появилась та же старая химия. И звучание. Я тогда подумал, что, может быть, всёбудет звучать совсем иначе. Во-первых из-за нас — мы все прогрессируем и меняемся с годами, развиваемся. И, конечно, ещё и Fredrik. Теперь у него новая студия, с другим оборудованием. Но на самом деле он просто воссоздал старое звучание. Своего рода дуновение ветра ностальгии».
