Deze, я считаю что Пиви нужно было сворачиваться после Ghosts, потому как приход Смольского считаю началом конца неплохой в общем-то группы.

Ну ты хотя бы по Гостс считаешь, Тиран же даже их выкидывает.

Лидер и автор скорее осознаёт, что без Смольского не получится повторить Рейдж нулевых и естественным образом ориентируется на другой период. К тому же неясно о чем он - о музыке или о звучании. Если о звучании, то конечно Рейдж 90-х в этом плане лучший, на 00-х был в массе очень плохой звук.

Неправда, ретроспективно у них всё такое ещё с первого альбома. Фальконер не менял свой стиль на протяжении дискографии. Исключение составляет 2011й, где был эксперимент с более риффо-ориентированной подачей.

Это да, но на дебюте, Chapters и Northwind мелодии весьма хороши. А потом по наклонной.

Не могу согласиться, дальше тоже всё хорошо. Вообще, Фальконер удивительно стабильная по качеству альбомов группа, разве что период в 2003-2005 просела, но это была случайность.

Statement from Stefan Weinerhall: As the new album From A Dying Ember is released on the 26th of June Falconer will cease to exist after 20 years. The reason is nothing drastic or sudden but it has grown during the last years. It is just time to move on after all this time to do something different, whatever that might be.

"I (Stefan) felt before this album that although I love Falconer´s music I knew just too well how to make it and what my own expectations and boundaries are when it comes to writing songs for Falconer. It felt maybe a bit too safe and familiar. We decided to make this final album as good as we possibly could and really concentrate on having all Falconer elements present and really make sure that each element got full devotion.

"For example, the ballad should be as "ballady" as ever, and the folk song should sound as folky as possible etc. The sole decision to make this the final album actually sparked a new found enthusiasm and engagement for me as a song writer, it was like the final sprint for a long distance runner.

"The last thing we wanted was to release a "so-so" final album, but really make it good enough so we could end the band with our heads held high, thus we let it take it's time. If we succeeded we'll leave to the fans to decide, but we as a band feel really proud of this achievement and hope that most fans will consider this to be a respectable "Adieu".

"So, what will happen for the members now? Well there is no real plans for that, we'll just see what the future brings when it comes to music.

"With this said we would like to thank all our fans and everyone that we have worked with or met during the years and wish you all the best in the future. With the Falconer dead and his falcons soaring the sky we bid you all a final farewell!"

Rage are back from the Corona crisis with a double bang: as had already been rumoured behind the scenes, guitarist Marcos Rodriguez has left the band. To replace him, vocalist/bassist Peavy Wagner has welcomed two new stringsmen to the Rage fold. New addition Stefan Weber (ex-Axxis) was introduced to the public at the METAL HAMMER online show in early May, now the band has presented its second new member, Jean Bormann (formerly Angelic, Rage & Ruins). Alongside Peavy, drummer Vassilios “Lucky” Maniatopoulos continues to be part of the group’s permanent line-up. Peavy: “We’ve wanted for some time for Rage to be a quartet again, with two guitarists the way we operated back in the days of Black In Mind and End Of All Days. After Marcos had returned to Tenerife and consequently was no longer available, I used this opportunity to enlist two young guitarists.”

The full new Rage line-up can be seen and heard for the first time in the ‘The Price Of War 2.0’ video clip, a new edition of the song from Black In Mind, scheduled to be released on 12 June 2020 on all important online channels. Peavy: “As you can tell from the clip, Stefan and Jean complement each other perfectly. They’re both young and bring a lot of fresh energy to the band. We consciously chose this number for the video because we also wanted to revitalise the sound of the Black In Mind era. The track was cut practically live for the clip, with only a few overdubs added. Rage will sound as heavy and punchy as we do on that song.”

The fact that Rage are already busy working on new material proves just how well the new line-up has gelled on a musical as well as a personal level. Says Peavy: “As we’re not in a position to do any shows for obvious reasons at the moment, but the guys are bursting with energy, we’re using that momentum to work on new ideas that will probably be ready for release next year.”

Не, тут понимаешь, нужно поддержать некоторую эклектику, но не сильно съехать с темы. Уэббер как бе вклинился со своими операми. Посему, фамилие нужна какая то громкая, близкая по смыслу, но, и как бе, не совсем выклинивающая Ллойда из ряда. Посему, Пиночет то, что доктор прописал.
А Мюллеры очень сильно запятнали себя перманентным участием в сборной Германии. Я прямо смотреть отказываюсь, если Мюллера в составе нет.
