Во-во, очень знакомо. Я наверное застрял в 90-х, но на альбомы меги и метЛалики нового тысячелетия у меня одна реакция - сначала жду как ребенок заветного подарка на день рождения, потом вставляю в проигрыватель(или распаковываю rar), и... Аарх, господи, уберите (IMG:style_emoticons/default/22.gif) Помоему у них и на ранних трэшерских работах была мелодичная мелодика, а тут, прости господи, "техничный понос" (особенно касается строения вокальных партий). Хотя если наскрести хитов с их последних 4 дисков, можно получить второй risk. Но звук и техника просто уложили на лопатки, если раньше в плане металлической мощи я смотрел на мегу снисходительно, то тут этот локомотив выносит мозг не хуже каких-нибудь cradle of filth или illdisposed. |

Очень боялся слушать этот альбом,но всё же поборол себя"рыжая,наглая рожа"не подвел на этот раз,петь стал нормально,опять появилась в голосе моя любимая интонация а-ля "мир,сука,продан список купивших опубликован в форбс".Музыка вызывает ностальгию,но при этом не слушается как попурри на заданную тему.Однозначно беру диск (IMG:style_emoticons/default/metaler.gif)

Альбом расслушал. Это бомба! Ни одного трека, который оставляет равнодушным. После альбома 2007 стало понятно, что старина Дейв решил тряхнуть стариной, но в тот раз альбом не получился цельным, на мой взгляд. Новый альбом круче испечён, и вообще - реальная бомба 2009 года. Мастейн не столько вернулся к старому звуку, какой у него был на рубеже 80-90-х гг., сколько развил его. Тогда Дейв был силён своими математически просчитанными риффами, теперь он дьявольски силён ими. Послушайте хотя бы начальную композицию - там в начале две линии ритма! Ну, а соляки и бас - да что тут говорить... Отличная работа! Спасибо aesteticvice за оперативный (как всегда, впрочем) релиз! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/alkash.gif)

Звук,техника...Блин,а музыка где?!
Слушаю тяжеляк более 20-ти лет во всех его проявлениях,от extremа до melodica,но вот никогда не понимал такой всенародной любви к двум командам:собственно к героям поста Megadeth и к Iron Maiden.Сколько раз слушал их альбомы,пытаясь въехать,но от первых на винчестере - пара-тройка треков,от вторых - столько же. И как бы их не расхваливали,не вижу я у Дейва великих композиторских способностей... Так что,раздающему спасибо за труды,но поставлю-ка я старую-добрую Метлу образца 86-го года |

Вердикт!
Ну что же, спустя года 2 прослушал целиком аж 2 раза и даже близко нету ощущения разочарованности. Да, большая часть ходов из другой эпохи, ничего такого новаторского и в помине нет. Но это лучшее, что группа выжала этим составом. Крепышы The Right To Go Insane,Bite The Hand, 44 Minutes,Endgame, This Day We Fight!. Чувствуется попытка записать Rust In Peace 2, но не судьба. Твердая четвертка и ровня металиковскому магнетику. Метла тут явно побудила к действию рыжего. upd: Странно. что имея таких технарей в составе, Мустик не решился усложнить музон и вообще отказался от экспериментов. Зря! |
