брутально-утробный гроул без всяких скримов(изредка вступает чистый(охренительный)войс)-бластбиты и жыырныая ритмуха (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spitggis0.gif)
технично-бластбитные забои сменяются джаздэтом(тут конечно царит (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) басс)
прогрессивно-это просто фантастичная смесь брутал-дэта, джаз-дэта и изюмистого изюма (IMG:style_emoticons/default/20.gif) его просто пригоршни(соляжки,проигрыши,акустическо-джазовые и клавишные(? думаю это гитарная технология пестиленса (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) )вкрапления,наслоения...)

Я просто в полном восторге! Альбом несколько мелодичнее Concealed, но об этом можно было догадываться уже после промки 2006 года!

Сильно, очень сильно. Здорово, просто отлично. Сперва хочется раскапывать в этом альбоме влияния (тут их много) всяких культовых банд (а в целом можно сказать, что перед нами обруталившаяся смесь Cynic и Atheist), но со временем становится ясно: у этой группы уже есть все, чтобы стать культовой наравне с ними. Док уже отмечал, что на Nuclear Blast крайне редко выходят работы такого класса, настоящая музыка, а не слащаво-приторные однодневки, но все-таки выходят и я тоже этому удивляюсь. Стало быть, Дэтстарсы и Инфлеймсы всякие — это для денег, а вот Augury — для души.
К делу. Что же тут у нас? Много чего. Можно было бы отписаться ярлыком jazz death metal, за неимением более емкой характеристики, но знайте: тут и прогрессив, и техникал, и брутал, и мелодик, существуют и заимствования из других жанров, в этом смысле особенно запоминается композиция номер пять, которая вовсе представляет из себя неклассифицируемое нечто, что я, будучи в не вполне адекватном состоянии, почти готов назвать epic power/death metal, да! Чистый вокал располагает, знаете ли.
Нередко в последнее время появляются псевдо-прогрессив(/)техникал работы, которые являются ни чем иным, как обычным дэтом, слегка присыпанным соляками. Тут все иначе, перцы, зуб даю. Собственно, ритмическая основа была взята из progmetal'a, гитарные проходы тоже оттуда. От дэта мясистость звука и вокал. Вкрапление, наслоения ©, да, и все настолько целостностно, что при разборе на отдельные компоненты впору удивиться, где тут что и чего только не намешано. Определенный вопрос вызвало только слишком большое количество гроула, иногда уходящего в утробные глубины. Под почти невесомые акустические проигрыши как-то не совсем гладко идет. Кстати, скрим тут есть, но очень мало (и он специфичен). Чистые распевы дюже хороши, особенно женский вокал (я от неожиданности, когда его услышал, аж вздрогнул), которого, правда, очень мало.
Ну и т.д. и т.п. Расписывать плюшки сего релиза можно долго, но нужно слышать. Однозначно один из лучших альбомов в дэте этого не слишком удачного в данном смысле года.

P.S.: Надо пояснить, почему четыре-и-восемь, а не пять. Потому что гроула много. И чуууть-чуть затянуты песни. Все остальное идеально.
