"Released in 1989 on Metal Blade Records, Another Return to Church Hill was the debut album from Norwegian power metal band Artch. The album was originally released overseas in 1988 as simply Another Return (Active Records). The band refined the American power metal sound of bands like Crimson Glory, Queensryche, Armored Saint and early Fates Warning (which in turn was a refinement of the original power metal sound of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest), adding elements of the emerging thrash style to the mix. The result is an album of technical and speedy power metal, polished as only a European band could. The band's closest US counterparts are probably Powersurge and to some extent Vicious Rumors, but Artch definitely had a more progressive sound."

Как же приятно открывать для себя такие группы. Вот так не знаешь что за музыка скрывается за такой то нелепой обложкой и названием коллектива. А тут Бац! и на тебе по темечку!. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) . Кстате стиль ниразу не Power хоть такой и на Мет.архивах прописан. Это добротный, с жриненьким звуком 100%й Heavy Metal!. Вокалист конечно не идеален,но здесь поет как то с душой чтоли.
Достойное место в моей коллекции старенького(но не стареющего (IMG:style_emoticons/default/genius.gif) ) Heavy Metal.

Полностью солидаризируюсь с Сапожками. Более того, альбом необыкновенно вариативен и интересен, песни разнообразные и качественные, вокал хорош и в тему. Крайне изумительно откапывать такие ништячки - удовольствие, проверенное временем, гарантировано.

А почему тут он называется Another Return To Church Hill а на архивах Another Return.И к стати не впечатлил меня альбом по первому прослушиванию.Налет прога есть чутка(как мне показалось) это не то чтоб плохо но настраивался на другое.
