Для меня ещё первый альбом Кэндэлов может претендовать на это звание. Он его, пожалуй, и возьмёт. Но Рэвренды будут после него.

Что же до этого релиза, то у Р.Б. слабья не наблюдается в творчестве. Здесь хороша заглавная, в другом альбоме - Dunkelheit, в третьем - Doom Over The World etc.

Реверенды и рядом с эпиком металликусом не стоят))первенец кендлмасс разноплановый и содержит почти обширный спектр настроений, присущих разным дум группам)А данный альбом самый скучный как по мне)нет таких хитов как дум овер зе ворлд и "богиня дума"
зы. да целая куча альбомов, которые могут претендовать на звания лучший альбом его величества Traditional DOOM)

Сретение Господне - это скорее эпик. Там больше мелодий и певучего вокала. А вот Чокнутые Преподобные всякий раз весьма инертны и тяжелы. К тому же, я не ищу хитов, когда доходит дело до грубого тяжеляка. А ещё очень люблю Warhorse, чур не путать со старой хардой (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye.gif)

Не слишком они тяжелы. Монотонны, грузны, слегка при-психоделичены - этого не отнять, но даже по сравнению с ними легкий стонеряк аля Визарды - это каменная глыба. Единственная запись, где они вплотную подошли на границы и даже зашли за грань Джаса - это сборник Слайсес оф дум 1999-2002, если оттуда выкинуть все повторы. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

Одно другому не мешает, наоборот, поэтому я б вот так сказал. Зашёл такой в музей, поглядел на картину Гойи и включил Reverend Bizarre - Doomsower на всю, чтоб другие посетители были в курсе чтО есть DOOM (IMG:style_emoticons/default/25.gif)

Альбом крутой (IMG:style_emoticons/default/metaler.gif) Особо отмечу трэки: Burn in Hell!, The Hour of Death, Sodoma Sunrise, Doomsower. Более того, ни до них, ни после аналогов что-то не особо наблюдается. Это редкость в наше время.

Один из любимейших опусов в думе. Канонично до мозга костей, а драйва-то сколько. Многое черпанули от классиков, типа Black Sabbath и Saint Vitus, но со своими фишками. Маршевые ритмы, тяжесть перегруженной гитары, грубость баса, харизма вокальных партий, увесистые хуки с композиторской стороны - одни плюсы у этого альбома.
