Dark Metal, а не Melodic Black Metal - это мое описание музыки.
Завывание женщин просто убили меня. Ладно бы в одной песне, но не в нескольких же (IMG:style_emoticons/default/22.gif)
Атмосфера явно проигрывает Теогонии.
Это точно не мой релиз. Предыдущие опусы слушал с удовольствием, а этот я буду слушать раз в год.
Материал на самом деле неплохой (многим группам прости и рости до такого), но это уже не тот Гниющий Христос, который я так любил...

Не совсем однозначное у меня отношение к творению греков.
С одной стороны соло/лид партии, мелодичные ходы в их стиле и весьма зачетны.
С другой стороны обещанная концепция битвы, которая должна была стать основой, не всегда реализованна как надо. Фолковая составляющая с ней хорошо сочитается, а вот металическая не всегда дает нужную атмосферу.
Лязг стали, хруст костей, свист стрел, вопли раненных, победный клич.. Слегка включить фантазию и все это будет, но музыка на все 100% эту картину не рисует.
Добавили бы что ли менее тонкие, более прямолинейные и очевидные ходы.Вот, к примеру, почему нельзя было заменить
женские вопли
в 7ом треке, вызывающие желание отгрызть себе уши, на стоны умирающих?
Оценку пока давать не хочу. Нужно еще послушать, и тот редкий для меня случай, когда нужны тексты.

Не хочу знать как другие, но я нахожусь в полном восторге от прослушанного. Все покатило, только канеш, вопли на поминках в 7 треке ни под какие определения не подходят. В итоге, проперся как следует не учитывая недоразумения скрывающегося в 7 теме.

Вместе с Theogonia, этот альбом определенно переходит в мои настольные вещи. Словно два брата-акробата, альбомы настолько идентичны по стилистике и саунду, что кажется будто они были зачаты в одно и тоже время, а потом их как-будто разлучили ненадолго.

Прекрасный пример боевого, качёво-пилликального мелоблека! Фанам на радость, а остальным на зависть!

послушал, что-то пока не пошел. хуже из поздних только санктус диаболюс... теогония была несравнимо лучше... впрочем, может еще расслушаю, как когда-то мунспелловский даркнесс энд хоуп) 7 песня зэти эге-ей,а также у-а у-а в 4й просто вызвали смех...))) а про последнюю вообще молчу, отвратная такая на вокале особь(((

Хочу сказать, что альбом слабее теогонии. Мелодика местами напоминает некоторые предыдущие творения (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif) . И мне кажется, что-то с голосом и Сакиса..может возраст. =) Женских вокалов на альбоме похоже нет, только семплы, скорее всего вот эти:
