Пару месяцев альбом пролежал, пока попал под правильное настроение. Как правильно сказано выше, в этот раз более монолитно - песни плавно переходят одна в другую, но до однообразия не скатываются. То же самое можно услышать и в каждой песне по отдельности - очень цельно звучат. Хороший альбом, только "характер" помягче.

По мне так они наоборот прогрессировали относительно первого, хоть и облегчились немного музыка стала на порядок атмосфернее и чистый вокал подрос в качестве, жаль от затянутости не избавились, ну и местами откровенно нудно, попробуем следующий.

Поимев некоторый успех после выпуска дебюта By Honour шведы спустя два года записывают его продолжение The End, которое, судя по названию, должно было стать и завершением проекта. Впрочем, завершения не случилось. А на данном альбоме мы слышим всё тот же Ereb Altor: мощный, эпичный, с маршевыми ритмами и элегическими распевами. Если Вальхалла существует - то, думаю, там играет именно такая музыка. Вот только песни, которые действительно разуплотняют, в этот раз в дефиците: по сути таковыми являются Our Failure и частично Balder's Fall (The End Part I). Остальное годное, но ровное, особых восторгов у меня не вызывает.

9/12 продолжение дебюта, которое получилось несколько слабее оного.

P.S. По сути альбом и музыкой, и названием дал понять, что чисто викинговская ипостась музыки шведов себя исчерпала. Тем не менее, это не конец.
