Пожалуй, мой любимый у них альбом. Скоростной и агрессивный дэз с сырым звуком — классика! Очень понравился кавер "Children Of The Grave".

Да фиг знает. Вот у меня есть кассета этого альбома, фирменная, выпущенная в год выхода, там вроде тоже не весть как звонко. СиДи-лось, конечно, звучит звонче, но мне кажется, что это как-раз недостаток СиДишного звука ("звенит"). Хотя фиг знает как правильно. Винил всегда мягче звучит, не всем альбомам это идёт, конечно.

Мне сначала показалось, что излишне мягко. На версии от цд ведь ставшая совсем привычной жёсткость.
Однако расслушав могу сказать, что и эта версия не хуже, в ней своё очарование.
А некоторые моменты, в частности вступление Mangled Dehumanization так и неожиданно симпатичнее цд-собрата!!

ПС / Ну а действительно здорово это, наверное, с винила "живьём"

Отличный альбом. У Спекманна голос какой то необычный здесь футуристичный, не наждачный. А ЧОЗГ даже не узнал, так загнали её. Но релиз очень хороший, если же убрать альт. версии песен, вообще бронебойный снаряд получается.

При первых знакомствах с дебютником Master сразу представился командой, несколько отличающейся от многих своих "собратьев по перу". Во-первых, вокалом, более высоким что-ли, берущим своим неистовством. Во-вторых, несколько суматошной, нервной манерой подачи материала. Это касается как гитарных соло, больше напоминающих вопли, так и звучанием баса (не прпомню, чтобы на тот момент столь нагло в death metal-альбомы кто-то впихивал басовые соло (хотя, могу и ошибаться). Тем не менее, на альбоме больше нравятся трэки, более близкие к традиционному звучанию тех лет: Mangled Dehumanization и Master. Да, конечно же надо упомянуть Children Of The Grave, в котором скорость катафалка с мигалкой заменил мчащийся монорельсовый поезд. Что тут можно сказать кроме слов "классика" и "Мастер"?
