да Ер -шка хороша (IMG:style_emoticons/default/9.gif) единственный минус что тут всего 2 песни , а хотелось бы 4 как минимум. Изначально группа подписала контракт с Earache на 4 альбома. После увольнения Майка Браунинга они даже начали сочинять новый материал для третьего, несмотря на то, что они были недовольны качеством промоушена со стороны лейбла. Однако лейбл внезапно расторгает контракт в одностороннем порядке, по сути оставив команду у разбитого корыта. Тем не менее, ребята собирают волю в кулак и записывают в Audio Lab Recording Studio (Моррисаунд оказалась не по карману, видимо) во Флориде двухпесенный EP. При этом первая композиция Possess the Priest была взята из старых запасов, а Mummified была сочинена для запланированного третьего альбома. Лирика в них была на тему оккультизма/антихристианства и Древнего Египта, соответственно. Более того, Mummified ещё и в мелодии содержит ближневосточные влияния, так что можно официально считать, что первыми концепцию Древнего Египта в дэт-метал привнесли именно Nocturnus. Записан данный миник был костяком Mike Davis / Sean McNenney / Louis Panzer (они же втроём и авторы материала) + уже знакомый нам вокалист Dan Izzo + басист и бэк-вокалист Emo Mowery, которого пригласили на постоянку ещё на период тура Thresholds, + драммер James Marcinek, заменивший Браунинга. Работа была издана на Moribund Records и, по моему мнению, является неотъемлемой и важной частью дискографии группы. Ибо, несмотря на глуховатый звук, материал реально крут и обе вещи не затерялись бы на номерных альбомах. Особенно хороша Mummified.

После выхода релиза группа распадается.

8/12 (по музыке тянет на твёрдые 10, но два балла я традиционно снимаю всем EP-хам за малое количество материала. Тут это особенно актуально). Всего две песни, но это крутые песни.
