Continuing the musical experiments, Seikima-II came up with "Ponk!!". "Ponk!!" is not one of my favorite, and it's definitely not a heavy metal album at all, and that's why I tagged it as "hard rock". It's the ONLY non-metal album by Seikima-II, so I hope it gets accepted by the forum moderators. "Ponk!!" is actually a ballad album, which I'm sure will not appeal to many people here at MetalArea.org. Still, it's a part of the band's discography, so I guess have to post it.
Seikima-II recorded this album at the Abbey Road Studios in London, England, which is where they supposedly took the inspiration to make such an album.
Even if this is another album which showcases the band's versatility, it's not an album which shows the true face to Seikima-II, so if you're ONLY into metal, you should NOT start with this album. You better try some of their earlier releases, like "The End of the Century", "From Hell With Love", "Big Time Changes", etc.
Still, if you're willing to try the album, there are some fairly good songs in it, like "Romance", "Just Let Me Go", and the REALLY nice and catchy "Teenage Dream".
