Though split up for many year, according to the founding member and original guitar player Vic, Concrete Sox will be reuniting in 2009. Right now, Vic is looking for full time members and stated for the first time, Concrete Sox will be a 2-guitar player band. Vic also states Concrete Sox will return to their early sound, in the vein of their crust/crossover content.

Concrete Sox were arguably one of the first bands to play the "crossover thrash" sound, blending their hardcore background with metal-inspired riffs. While playing crossover thrash music, the band also had their crust punk roots intact in their music. Their post-90's material shows a more hardcore/crust punk sound than crossover style of music.

The band has made parody versions of songs from many bands. "Moustache (Acting Like A Maniac)" is a parody of Metallica's "Whiplash", "At Tea With Satan" is a play on the Venom song title "At War With Satan" and the song "Speak Siberian Or Die" (also known as "Speak Japanese Or Die") is a parody and a response song to the Stormtroopers of Death's song "Speak English Or Die."
