Nowadays Paul tends to tour alone and use local Iron Maiden tribute acts as his backing band.

Di'Anno now refutes the popular rumour that he once claimed to be a Muslim. He claims the story stemmed from an interview with an Egyptian newspaper when he stated his admiration for the dedication it takes to follow the religion.

Started his musical career as a singer in punk-band Paedophiles and has never been in a band called Bird of Prey. Also appeared in Air Pavilion and worked on a label-initiated project with Dennis Stratton that released three albums, the first of which was called "The Original Iron Men."
