чистый вокал есть?
а то по превью музыка фоновая красивая, но монотонно нудная, с постоянно воющим скримом,я такую музыку люблю с чистым вокализом,если его тут мало или совсем нет, то мимо,больно уж все предсказуемо знакомо

Draugnim started as Morior's one-man project in 1999 and boy, has it been a struggle of epic proportions ever since; four futile demos, line-up changes enough for five bands and to top it all, a sewer disaster in 2002 that hit the band's rehearsal room drowning their equipment and dreams... literally in shit. Years of silence and frustration followed. This pause, the time of brooding and introspection brought forth the true essence of Draugnim as Morior turned inwards to create his art free from restraints and expectations. After many years, when the other remaining members Chimedra and Turms heard the new songs, they knew Draugnim was finally destined for greatness. One final time they gathered their forces to record a demo, the last demo ever - if it wouldn't succeed, it was agreed it would be the death of Draugnim. But this was not to be. Enter friends. Henri Sorvali of Moonsorrow recorded the demo in his studio and Repe Misanthrope from Impaled Nazarene lent his hands to the drums. In June 2007 the band had a satisfactory demo in their hands and some 20 of them were sent to labels and media. On the contrary to everything experienced by Draugnim up to that point of time, the response came instantly as several labels showed interest on signing them. Eventually the band decided to sign with Finland's leading extreme force, Spikefarm Records. In February 2008 Draugnim entered the studio once again, with new dreams, to record their debut album. Atmospheric opus of pagan metal, "Northwind's Ire" brings to life the stories of old pagan past with majestic melodies and raw, moody expression. Through Draugnim's years of pain and frustration their sound has evolved beyond the realms of everyday black metal, into something otherworldly and dreamlike, still retaining the strong Scandinavian pagan folk influence they always had.

чейто не сильно похоже, если только пространными местами и мелодической подкоркой, мунсорроу намного интереснее и свежее, и не так откровенно вторично-монотонно(правда сужу пока по трем трэкам (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) )

Монотонно — да, вторично — нет, это ж мелоприблэкованный эпичный пэган, чего, интересно, ты ждал? Исполнено всё отлично, на стыке между неуловимым влиянием немецких групп и финской атмосферы плюс мягкий, обволакивающий звук, минимум агрессии, просто красивая, почти воздушная музыка в определённой стилистике. Не Dekadent, конечно, пободрей, но, думаю, в чём-то сравнить можно, хотя здесь клавишные не симфонические. Очень сильная и уверенная мелодика, гитара удачно взаимодействует с аранжировками и создаёт прекрасное, атмосферное звучание, иногда разбавляемое нечастыми, но довольно оригинальными акустическими вставками (уверен, они могли бы написать хорошую акустико-эмбиентную пластинку). Вокалист вполне вписывается в материал да и никогда из него не выпадал, глуховатый, типичный скрим. Я лично весьма доволен альбомом, получил, что хотел.

Все-таки, главное - не что слушать, а как и когда слушать. Смотрю я на этот вот Draugnim - вроде бы ничего примечательного, слышал я это уже всё. Однако ж, на дворе темно, холодно, близится очередная тридцатиградусная зима, да и вообще настроение ниже фарватера. И альбом очень в жилу, и очень катит, и очень круто.

Настоящий викинг-метал, но не про "воруй убивай е*и гусей во славу Одноглазого-на-Восьминогом", а больше про думать и созерцать. Спокойно, размеренно, без лишних блозбидов - с первого взгляда можно и правда принять за монотонность, но при более вдумчивом ознакомлении - не монотонно, а величественно, и не вторично, а хорошо забытое старое. Напоминает скорее не Moonsorrow, а тот же нежно мной любимый ранний Thyrfing.

На любителя, короче. Я вот - любитель.
