Неправда. На «МайСпейсе» написано, что указанный альбом был отменён (так как материал для него устарел и не соответствовал текущему уровню развития группы) и вместо него как раз и был выпущен этот мини-альбом.

Мне совершенно не нравиться. То что эти Австралийцы используют разнообразные фолк инструменты это плюс, я всегда предпочту их клавишам в фолк метале.
Если расценивать с позиции красивых и гармоничных фолк мелодий, то например Irminsul их отделывает элементарно
при гораздо более скромном арсенале фолк инструментов. И по стилю очень похожи, такой же среднетемповый, очень мелодичный, слегка экстремальный фолк с чистым пением и скримом. Или последний альбом Kromlek. Сравнивать с Finntroll-ем бессмыслено, там энергетика и скорость больше на порядки.

Not bad, but there's just far too many of these folk/viking bands playing exactly the same style of music. This one is better than most, but still, this genre is getting stale and overcrowded.

Музыка неплоха, но есть много но. По-моему, альбому не хватает целостности, песни слишком разные, как будто музыканты до конца не определились, в каком же жанре они действительно хотят играть. В данном случае для меня это недостаток,так же как и монотонность и однообразность во многих других группах. Нужна, как говорится, золотая середина между этими крайностями. Также некоторые песни вызывают ощущение сумбурности, какой-то негармоничности. Но потенциал несомненно есть, так что, думаю, могут запросто в дальнейшем выдать что-нибудь более интересное.

Отличный релиз, австралийцы невероятно порадовали. Получилась у них смягчённый замес из Eluveitie и Finntroll, без "копания" первых и, пусть иногда кабацкой, но в то же время пугающе отстранённой, скрытой мрачности вторых. Просто хорошие, задорные, отточенные мелодии.

Тоска смертная. До упомянутых Eluveitie и Finntroll (и где тут финтролл (IMG:style_emoticons/default/17.gif) ) далеко, а про Irminsul вообще не говорю.
Мешанина понятно чего, и даже понятно для чего, но непонятен полученный результат.
В общем, чего там у нас есть кенгуриного в запасе, чтоб про этих троллей забыть (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif)
