Имеем какой-то небрежный то ли панк то ли кантри от Мастейна с довольно однотипными примитивно-хитовыми мелодиями. В оригинале был голос похожий на Тома Джонса, а теперь вот и сам Дейв запел.
Мастейн неплохо постарался - разнообразный вокал, хотя чуть менее выразительный чем в мегадесе. Голос и манера в духе The System Has Failed - подсевший и какой-то полуразговорный. Также его вокал сильно на переднем плане, что отрицательно сказывается на драйвовости всего микса - он менее упругий чем оригинал, может клавиши помогли бы но их нету. В общем мастхев для поклонников мегадеса, но чего-то не хватает. Короче где-то на уровне релиза Hidden Treasures.
P.S. Порадовала песня Creed. Вот здесь Дейв действительно старался. Ей нашлось бы место и в Youthanasia.

Remix released on July 27, 2004, by Capitol, with three extra tracks:

Dave Mustaine does the vocals on the remixed version due to the fact that the
tapes of Lee Ving's original vocal tracks were lost.

Dave Mustaine released this album between Megadeth's "Youthanasia" and "Cryptic Writings". I would say that this is just as heavy as "Youthanasia" although it's a little bit different. You can see some punk influences here more than in Megadeth albums.

Ремастированное издание не слышал. Но оригинал мне понравился. Свой безбашенностью, незамороченностью, некоей грубостью. Кое-что, конечно, звучит довольно незамысловато (такими мне показались Hell's motel и Day the music dead), но в целом - звучание нравится, вокалист совершенно в тему голосит, гитара классно звучит. Больше всех, конечно, понравилась The creed, на голову выше прочего материала.

Странно, но это не так. Если, скажем, разобрать No pain на составляющие, то да, трэшевых элементов много, но... собранные воедино, они таковыми не слушаются.

I wish I could find a download of the 1996 CD first pressing from Japan, it had instrumentals not anywhere else I guess.

I doubt anyone who has the a download of the original post will re-upload, otherwise they would have done it by now.
