Шикарный дебют у голландцев!
Собственно именно с этого релиза ребята уже взяли такую планку мелодэта/мелотреша, которую многим будет даже до сегодняшнего момента сложно перепрыгнуть. Тяжёлые фирменный звук, который свойственен только Detonation, изумительный скрим-гроул и, конечно же, фантастические гитарные соляки, которые подкупают своей объёмностью и атмосферностью. Я уже понял, что эта команда никогда не покинет мой плейлист. Продуман звук каждой струнки, каждой нотки, всё настолько сливается в единое музыкальное полотно, что в голове ещё остаются те волшебные звуки, которые можно услышать, вставив CD в проигрыватель...

Зная остальные работы от недерландов я ставлю 9 из 10.., хотя вообще альбом заслуживает 10-ки!

Альбом просто отличный, классический мелодет (который почему-то сегодня принято треш-детом называть) в традициях лучших исполнителей из Швеции. Олдскульно и чрезвычайно интересно, отличные соло, убойные риффы, драмминг вообще на высоте!

В рамках жанра один из лучших альбомов

Просто-таки шикарный альбом! Если бы не знал, что Detonation - голландцы, то непременно подумал бы, что играют шведы. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Характерный шведский melodic-death, местами весьма техничный, с драйвовым ритмом, красивыми соло и типичным гроулом. Forever Buried Pain наполнена позитивом и оптимизмом, Voices Beyond Reason демонстрирует отменное чувство вкуса, The Collision Of Despair говорит о богатом техническом багаже, чертовски сильна The Prophecy Unfolds. Но совершенно сразили наповал две вещи: Sword - с потрясающей работой великолепного драммера, и брызжущая фантазией Starve. Ещё пару-тройку композиций такого уровня, как Sword и Starve - и высшего балла альбому было бы не избежать! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) 9.5/10
