Nothing else they made (besides their ambient demos) really did anything for me, to be honest. |

Пластинка разительно отличается своим raw-наполнением в сравнении с последующим творчеством. На таком саунде тяжеловато слушать пятидесятиминутный релиз. Я так и не понял со временем, хотели они сделать такой трушный-блекушный альбом или он таким получился за счет последующей студийной работы. Сейчас склоняюсь больше к тому, что быть почище этой пластинке пошло бы на пользу, есть достаточно богатая инструментальная часть, не лишенная занятных мелодий. Да и вообще не напрягая слух было бы приятно послушать, а то среди резкого и заваливаюющегося саунда прямо таки приходится выцеплять классные куски, спустя годы привычки так и не появилось.
Фанатом Summoning стать я так и не смог, талантливые люди, но слишком сказочный концепт и ориентированный на клавиши саунд... Lugburz считаю весьма недурным альбомом, заслуженный культ. В год выхода это скромное австрийское трио переиграло многих. |
