Not to be confused with Combat.

In 1984, the Rossbach brothers, Rex and Jeff hooked up with Chris "The Monarch" Weidner and formed COMBAT.

Signing a deal with legendary Combat Records, they put out the now classic Bootcamp EP. For obvious reasons, Combat Records would not allow them to use the band name COMBAT, so the EP was released under the band name Napalm.

With the unexpected success of the EP, Combat Records wanted them in the studio immediately to do a full length album. However, there were some differences with all involved. Push came to shove, and the Rossbach brothers called it quits. Chris and NAPALM continued on without the Rossbach brothers. The Cruel Tranquility LP (SPV Records) followed, and then the final NAPALM release, with no remaining original members, Zero To Black (SPV Records).

In 2002, the Rossbach brothers with Bob Eubank on Vocals & Bass (who ironically could have been the original member of COMBAT instead of Chris), reformed COMBAT. At the same time, they also formed our own record label, THAT'S HEAVY RECORDS, in order to record and produce our own albums.
