А, непосредственно, Millennium на порядок слабее великого Imperial Doom. Да и вообще все работы у Monstrosity я не сравню с дебютником. Есть отдельные прорывы, но в общем весь материал после 1992-го в разы (даже хз, как сказать) стандартен что ли...
Но с другой стороны то, что было в начале 90-х в последующем активно "перемывалось" и "перекатывалось" множеством банд.
Так что это общая тенденция (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif)
Но, с другой стороны, это не служит оправданием для того чтобы штамповать стандарты, ссылаясь на всех окружающих (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dooo.gif)
Я спорю сам с собой?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif)
ЗЫ - пора переходить на более лёкгие, альтернативные, источники одурманивания сознания... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)

Лучший альбом у Monstrosity, наравне только классика Imperial Doom... В принципе, я вообще против Monstrosity без корпсграйндера, какие то они странные стали... техника там всякая... Еще Rise To Power ничо так)
Что не нравится у Monstrosity - оформление дисков, а конкретно - все обложки (за исключением дебютника и Spiritual Apocalypse) неинтересный "компьютерный" шлак...

Всё творчество Monstrosity для меня, как некие перепады настроения, но общая тенденция положительная.
А всё равно с дебютником не сравнится ничего.

Безусловно лучший альбом коллектива. Не знаю как насчёт глобального влияния на стиль техничного брутального дэта, но у тех же Spawn of Possession ноги во многом отсюда растут. Комплексные аранжировки не дают заскучать, хотя и имеются некоторые замедления. Ставлю сабж в один ряд с Oppressor '98 и Broken Hope' 99. Классика, пусть и с не самым лучшим звуком - суховато, хотя и чисто, но мясистость совершенно завалена, зато все приёмы прослушиваются хорошо.

Монстросити 96 переигрывает СС 96 по всем показателям.
1) Техника - интересная, приправлена соляками, есть сложные размеры.
2) Звук жестче и суше, не так режет по ушам.
3) Вокал - Жора Фишер исполняет вокальные партии ниже, лишь изредка взрываясь на свой протяжный сипатый вой.
4) Построение композиций - аранжировки разнообразные, есть олдскульные моменты, есть реально жесткие проходы, но все выверено и гармонично.
5) Общее впечатление - монолит, ассоциируется со временем своего издания и лучшими его работами.

Это как бой тяжеловесов, где боец, на которого не ставили, выиграл по очкам, хотя по итогам двенадцати раундов оба остались на ногах.
