Этим альбомом Deicide замахнулись на титул лучшей Death-metal группы всех времен и народов. А дальше все у Бентона со товарищи пошло как-то вяло... Короче, иконой смертельного митола они так и не стали, но Legion - это, ребята, нечто!

Да блин - этот альбом просто эквивалент злобы, вдохновивший многих. Польские Hate например, умудрились нарезать аж несколько альбомов в духе Legion (а на мой взгляд - просто передрали всё нах). И если сравнивать с дебюткой, то нельзя говорить что он лучше. Он не лучше и не хуже - он вообще ДРУГОЙ. Кстати, может быть, кому интересно - Глен в интервью, опубликованном помоему уже в Dark - City, когда ему задали вопрос мол, а что это вы, уважаемый, боромочите там такое, в самом начале альбома и чего нет в буклете? ответил, что вещает что-то типа: "Caco - Daemon, Satan Spawn" Там ещё были фотки с флаконом отечественной водки у него в руках (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

P.S: Помню, моё первое знакомство с Deicide у мя началось именно с этого альбома. И я просто тупо ржал с манеры пения "того самого злого дядьки". Но мля понимание приходит со временем. И теперь это совсем НЕ СМЕШНО!

Эта работа для меня не нова. Скорость высочайшая, все песни великолепны, вокал хорош, в меру низок, выразителен. Сведено тоже на отлично, хотя немного громковато. И длительность идеальна для подобных скоростей.

Абсолютно проходной альбом. Жидкий звук, постоянно пилящие гитары, гавкающий вокал, практически полная идентичность всех тем. Где здесь настоящая смерть? НЕТ ЕЕ ЗДЕСЬ. Нет пробивающего саунда, качественного вокала, отсутствует атмосфера, запоминающиеся мелодии...Не понимаю, чего здесь эпохального и значимого. Полный проходняк. Шведская школа ДМ остаётся лучшей из лучших.
