Често сказать - не всякий нео-фолк оттдает фолком. Зачастую слово фолк там вообще не к месту. Мне кажется то что ты ищешь не совсем подподает под понятие неофолк.

Можно посмотреть в сторону Of The Wand And The Moon и Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio. Своего рода даркфолк.
Можно также глянуть Agalloch - The Mantle (2002), правда, там не только акустика.

Ну если неофолк, то могу посоветовать Omnia,Faun, Sava там арфа,скрипки, всякие флейты,дудки и необычные инсрументы.
А вот акустический финский фолк Poropetra реальная тема у меня 2004 года альбом у них еще вроде вышел один там кстати скрипач из KorpiklaanI играет.
