По сравнению с дебютом саунд группы стал существенно чище, мощнее и эпичнее. Местами эпично-героические клавишные рулады даже вызывают ассоциации с Bal-Sagoth, хотя до пафоса британцев шведы явно не дотягивают. Как и предшественник, альбом получился цельным, все треки выдержаны в одном ключе, клавиши по-прежнему ведут мелодическую часть, а гитара по-прежнему выполняет вспомогательную, правда, встречаются клёвые проигрыши на акустике и мелодичные фолково-плясовые риффы. Естественно, это всё не могло не привести к тому, что блэковой суровости стало поменьше и группа стало немножко ближе к другим европейским фолковым командам, но параллельно с этим Valdr Galga является уверенным шагом вперёд в плане яркости материала и насыщенности саунда.

Кстати, в Valdr Galga (в песне) неплохое соло (и на дудках тоже классно сыграно. Кажется (или нет), но фолковой составляющей на том диске стало больше. Заглавную, наряду с Askans Rike и Firever, считаю самыми интересными на диске.
