Всегда ценил выше 86 ибо как он вдумчив и инфернально-философичен. Как и 1988, это альбомы на подумать, правда и разбавленные дробленой жестью, но все же. А только рубка 1986 хоть и крута, но даже за 28 мин приедается с годами. А 85, 88, 90 как цвели, так и цветут.

Да, Hell Awaits - реально тот момент, который изменил очень много представлений.

Можно писАть много красивого про любую из песен "Hell Awaits"/ но вот мне про At Dawn They Sleep хочется... Есть скорость, тяжесть, тот самый трэш, характерный вокал... но вот то гитарное соло на 6-й минуте и переход в соло на барабанаххх .... вещь на все времена

Альбом, до краёв полнящийся просто таки сатанинской и мрачнющей атмосферой. Такого больше у группы не было никогда, когда было бы так зримо ощущение приближающегося зла и Ада. Альбом стоило бы назвать не Ад Ждет, а Ад наступил, ибо с первой секунды звучания понимаешь - зло зримо и живо. Древние культы, жрецы и глашатаи, подёрнутые остроконечными балахонами, а то и просто сорвавщейся с катушек маньяк, глухие леса, в которых может всё, что угодно случиться. Да любые ассоциации приходят в голову, только они ни в коей мере не радостные. Возвеличиванию мрака и ужаса способствуют следующие трэки, отобранные мною как наилучшие:

Haunting The Chapel (версия переиздания)
Necrophiliac
Crypts of Eternity
