Зря альбом многие ругают, ни для ИМ, ни для аудитории этот альбом не был открытием, при этом он очень кайфово и слаженно звучит, есть конечно нафталиновые фишки даже для того времени, но у ИМ это часть фирменного почерка, как Харрис скажет, так все и сыграют)))

Все, кто говорит, что сей альбом плох... Ну врут же безбожно!!! Отличный драйвовый альбом с шикарным звуком, яросным вокалом Брюса и кучей хитов! И хит тут не только про Россию, а и про бойню, про молящегося, убийцу, крючки...

Щас я вам всё растолкую, никуда не уходите. Альбом переслушиваю время от времени, вот, например, прямо сейчас. Он, безусловно, в тройке худших у группы (с 1981 и 2003), но плохим его не назвать — на нём есть и пачка бронебойных хитов (Tail Gunner, Holy Smoke, титулка, Мать Россия), и просто приятные песни (Run Silent, Run Deep, The Assassin, BYDTTS), просто филлеров побольше, чем обычно, да ещё и откровенная лажа типа Hooks In You зачем-то присутствует.

Здесь много хороших песен, но безусловно лучшая - Fates Warning. Она мало кому нравится, что лишний раз подтверждает ее гениальность. Это вам не какой-нибудь Fear of the Duck. Еще очень хороша титулка. Открывашка с закрывашкой, правда, подкачали. Ну, и про дым еще просто до омерзения жизнерадостная песня. Но все остальное прекрасно. |

Не слушал 5 лет. Казалось, что все 10. Чуда не случилось, проперло только от BYDTTS. Те, которых в упор не помнил (а это аж 6 штук) оказались получше, чем ожидал, а на Fates Warning и The Assassin даже что-то немного зашевелилось, но альбом все равно чахл.
