Альбом ОФИГИТЕЛЬНЕЙШИЙ просто. Проносится действительно как ураган из магической страны. Уже первая песня берёт за грудки и не отпускает. Особенно отмечу 1, 3 и 6 трэки - это просто кайф для ушей. Однако остальной материал ничуть не хуже. Монолит. Лёгкость и прекрасный вокал. Действительно, лучший. Спасибо дивчине за такой шедевр!

Пожалуй, второй для меня после "Седьмого Сына" альбом. Особенно люблю Wasted Years и Stranger in a Strange Land.
Терпеть не могу Heaven can wait - очень портит впечатление от альбома.

Еще один шедевр "золотого" периода 82-92. Альбом действительно звучит своеобразно, но у него совершенно особенная энергетика.В идейный футуризм в том году сыграли Maiden и JP с киберзаносами. В итоге IM выпустили один из лучших альбомов, JP - худший. Буквально каждый трек - хитяра, но мне особенно близок The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner - живительно и оптимистично.

...Пожалуй, сложнее всего писать про свои самые любимые альбомы, потому как хочется донести всю силу музыки, вызывающей такую бурю эмоций, переживаний, музыку, которая вылавливает из подсознания самое прекрасное и загадочное, то, до чего не сможет добраться никто, кроме тебя самого. Когда несколько музыкальных факторов, влияющих на разум, сливаются воедино вкупе с подходящей внешней средой, рождается чудо. Таким альбомом стал для меня "Somewhere In Time".
Главное достоинство альбома (и отличие от остальных творений группы) – удивительная по силе и красоте атмосферность, достигнутая как звучанием гитар, так и применением синтезаторов. Эта атмосферность как ничто другое соответствует тематике альбома, так или инече связанной со временем. Прекрасно сделаны аранжировки, отличное качество записи, хоть даже и не такое, какое присутствовало на предыдущих работах, я бы отнёс это к определённому развитию, но не как к минусу или плюсу, просто оно другое, к тому же реально тяжёлые, жёсткие гитарные риффы плавно переходят в мягкие соло пассажи парящие над мощной и напористой ритм секцией, что создаёт оттенок некой прогрессивности, Дикинсон же поёт весьма разнообразно, изменяя свой стиль – от агрессивного до распевного. То количество соляков которое здесь предоставлено невозможно пересчитать, их просто море и все они покрыты печатью духа группы, очень мелодичны и атмосферные.
Понятно, что у каждого из почитателей Железной девы будет свой собственный вариант любимого альбома, но лично для меня, этот альбом является самым любимым!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

У мейденов в каждом году выходили синглы, которые не входили в альбом. И даже есть сборник синглов за все время - если не ошибаюсь, то их порядка 30 будет. Так вот в 86 году было 4 сингла - в японском издании они добавлены к альбому.
