Несмотря на впечатляющие имена получилось весьма блекло и паршиво.
Для себя выделю только Хьюза. Ну и и Антрах, да и тот с натягом.

ПС/ Особенно разочарован Халфордом-голубком. Думаю, что этот трек идеально подошёл бы под вокал Гиллана...

Yes, ultimately it is a useful service, although many times it can't translate all the words in a sentence and sometimes it gives you a meaningless sentence. After all, much better than nothing I guess.

Как известно, если ты замутил кавер-версию, то надо или сыграть ее с огоньком, не особо отходя от оригинала, либо родить нечто оригинальное (электронное, психоделическое, руссконародное), так сказать "по следам бременских музыкантов".
Итак, если высказаться усеченно...
Порадовавшие. 1. Anthrax сделали все очень добротно, душевно (по другому и не могут, и даже если споют песенку Малежика, то и с нею блеснут). 2. Tenacious D родили версию для отходящих от абстинентного синдрома (некие дудки в середине именно об этом и говорят). 3. Удивили Halestorm - попыткой женщины подражать мужчине. 4. Killswitch Engage - жизненно, и без излишних выпендрежей исполнили Holy Diver. 5. Metallica... про них уже все здесь Язва сказал.
Лузеры. 1. Adrenaline Mob – просто ничего... 2. Corey Taylor способен испоганить даже песни собственной группы, что уж говорить о нетленке Дио... 3. Doro. Egypt, исполненный ею, ухудшил мое и так не самое безоблачное впечатление от ее сольного творчества. Лучше бы она кушала салат по-шопски или ездила за покупками. 4. Glenn Hughes, коллега коллеги. Такую песню испортил. 5. Rob Halford, такое впечатление, что проснулся, бреется и напевает себе под нос... Гитарист и то интереснее сыграл в Man On The Silver Mountain. 6. Jasta - просто надо стирать такое (еще и название каких-то рэпперов напоминает).
Оригиналы. 1. Motörhead with Biff of Saxon. Гнусавый вокал Байфорда... Бррр. Полный отстой. Проходят по категории "оригиналы перверсии". 2. Scorpions. Радостно смутили тем, что могут петь что-то кроме Wind of Changes. Гитарное вступление было просто чем-то волшебным... И на нем надо было закончить исполнение The Temple Of The King, потому как немецкий английский Майне... ничуть не лучше гнусавого голоса Байфорда. 3. Jimmy Bain, коллега, бас записал на песне просто монументально! Хочется слушать эту версию неоднократно. 4. Dio – This Is Your Life. и так ясно, что Дио - оригинал.
П.с. Насчет обложки... Мексиканца на обложке не нашел... Видать, еще не дорос... Дорочке классный гаджет на руку приляпали. В хозяйстве пригодится.
