Usurper весьма интересный материал выдали четверть века назад, даже и сравнить особо не с кем, но они прекрасно слушаются на правах артефакта своего времени. Перед нами угрюмый и надрывный материал, вязко и густо замешанный на треше и дэте, но по эстетике развивающий идеи диаболистической мглы. Не смотря на то что перед нами американская группа, подписаться в Норвегии да еще и в 95 году Head Not Found - это сильно. Американские дела в ту пору погрязли в Death Metal, в то время как в европах как на дрожжах рос Black Metal и издающие его конторы. Head Not Found в принципе небольшой лейбл, но в свое время издаваший и по сути давший широкую огласку без малого плеяде звездный коллективов: Gehenna, Windir, Ulver, The Third and the Mortal, Ragnarok и ряду других очень интересных и талантливых, но ныне почивших коллективов.

Достойная пластинка, пропитанная духом времени и темного творческого вдохновения.
