Согласен, с тобой что клон, да я думаю это не кто отрицать не будет, неоспаримый факт на лицо. Действительно жаль, думал фантазии у них на большее хватит. Оценка 6/10 из-за уважения группе и так скажем если бы не знал, что такое Nile, первый раз услышал сказал бы что это отличный альбом. Вот такие вот пироги. Работа совершенно безвкусная, сухая, атмосфера старая, но теперь она какая то синтетическая не живая. Команда явно поторопилась с созданием нового материала. Еще брутальная мощь на мой взгляд как то пошла на убыль у них. Естественно как всегда, технично, качественно, но совершенно пусто. Вот мои впечатления после первого прослушивания, врятли мое мнение в дальнейшем поменяется.

послушал-да, насчет идей подвыдохлись(фишка истрепалась)-запомнились предпоследняя тема и в последней минуты три в конце-могли бы давануть на этнические штуки и получилось бы намного интересней-в общем альбом гдето не в первом эшелоне(в отличии от предыдущих к этому вряд ли вернусь в ближайшее время)

Вот что имхо-скажу. Тексты покажут, но альбом мне показался более лавкравтовским, чем египетским по духу (what can be safely written - явно про Ктулху и, может быть, the essential salts на ту же тему). И в этом, мне кажется, его главное отличие от предыдущих и главный плюс.

Те, кто имеет особую любовь к Morbid Angel'овскому "Formulas Fatal to the Flesh" (именно по его явно лавкратовскому духу на фоне их других работ ) полюбят и этот альбом Nile.

Many thanks for this release, you saved me wasting 40 dollars on this very, very weak and repetative CD.

I was instantly bored shitless by this. Nile have fallen, in a big way. It would seem they ran out of ideas and like an atypical band that thorughout it's career has achived something, now they rest on their laurels and pump out more of the same.

The album is toooo serious, these fellas take themselves way to seriously, it's so dry and so repetative. There is nothing new here. It's a "safe" release for them, money in the bank, so to speak.

If you get songs from their previous albums, and put them together on one big playlist, then included the new album, hit play. You will NOT be able to tell the difference between them... It's like one long continuos album that gets an update every year.

BUT if you like Nile then no doubt you will love this, it's 100% Nile, but a Nile that's run out of ideas.....

Oh well, thee's always the next album.... lol
