Альбом, ставший для меня откровением. Здесь совершенно всё - от первой до последней ноты. Не очень люблю викинг и подобные ответвления в металле, но когда это сделано настоящими мастерами, это не может не пробирать до глубины души. 42 минуты путешествия по природной тропе. Пред глазами разворачиваются величественные пейзажи - горы, реки, ручьи, серпантины растительности. Бескрайняя и могущественная, вечная природа...Её сила, величие и достоинство воплощено в релизе. Песни текут единым потоком, плавно переходя из одного состояния в другое. Этот релиз не хочется ни перематывать, ни торопить. Его хочется переслушивать и снова и снова и снова оказываться в объятьях магии и сказки.

Вчера слушал весь вечер фоном - все тот же Ereb Altor, сочный, эпичный, тягучий. Но как-то... хитововсти что-ли не хватает. Хотя, нужна ли она тут - другой вопрос. По звучанию ребята, похоже, вернулись к тому, с чего начали на первом альбоме - это прослеживалось еще с прошлого релиза, но здесь особенно заметно.

Хорошая работа, но лично я считаю, что они немного перестарались и альбом получился слишком в сторону Doom. И эта заДУМчивость перекрыла решительно всё. Я не говорю, что это плохо, просто увлеклись ребята и перегнули палку. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/16.gif)

Так уже на прошлом было так (IMG:style_emoticons/default/21.gif) , и меня этот факт вовсе не радует (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif) : блэковость у них была очень сочной, преотличнейше сочетаясь с викингом (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

А у меня вот сложилось впечатление, что это не новые задумки, а какая-то боязнь повториться. Уж очень разительной выглядела перемена стиля первых альбомов на «Gastrike». И материал что того альбома, что последующего мне совершенно на душу не лёг. «Nattramn» звучит куда органичнее, видимо, потому что акцент вновь сместился в сторону размеренного распевного эпика, хотя и не без «гастриковских» влияний. Может, и не стоит ждать второго «By Honour», ведь у нас уже есть один, а группа тем временем нашла не менее интересное звучание, пусть и после череды не очень удавшихся экспериментов. Надеюсь, больше они не будут метаться между жанрами в поисках более комфортного.

Достойнейший монолит. Живая мысль пульсирует и не отпускает на протяжение всего альбома, но будет жаль, если мастерство двинет группу в сторону коммерции - "звоночки" тоже есть... Больше думового мышления по сравнению с прошлой работой. Очень порадовала наконец-таки услышанная неаляповатая преемственность композиторским и аранжировочным концепциям Куортона.

Не думаю что сабж это та группа по которой определяют дум/не дум.
Для этого есть аморфис анафема и кататония например (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headcrab.png)
