Можно скзаать что в традиционно определяемой формуле их стиля - atmospheric technical death Ноктурнус сделали максимальный упор на первое (за это он мне и нравится (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile4.gif) ), сведя практически на нет второе. |

Который раз Нажимая "Play", невольно представляю картину...
На орбите планеты появляется большое число космических кораблей - биороботы опять вернусь, чтобы "уничтожить христианство" и поработить алчных, зарвавшихся и утопающих в пороке землян. Выжженые территории вместо живописных лугов, каменные пустыни вместо некогда прекрасных городов, дожди из концентрированной серной кислоты, отравленные реки, концентрационные лагеря, научно-исследовательские лаборатории где ведутся жуткие опыты, лишенные разума зомби смирно идущие на заводы по переработке человеческого компоста - такая теперь кругом атмосфера. И так все 8 треков, вплоть до "Outland", знаменующую полнейший "Конец всего". Альбом слабо сказать очень хороший - он просто замечательный и смело заслуживающий быть одним из эталонных в техническом тяж. метале. |

Третьему альбому Nocturnus суждено было выйти несколько не в том виде, в котором он планировался в первой половине 90-х. Тем не менее, он всё-таки увидел свет. Дело в том, что в конце 90-х McNenney и Panzer снова собрались вместе для музицирований, и у них начал рождаться новый материал. В итоге группа была реанимирована почти в том же составе, в котором была записала self-titled EP-ха, с поправкой, что вместо James Marcinek место за «кухней» занял Rick Bizarro, а Emo Mowery стал единолично отвечать за бас и вокал. Т.е., состав группы снова сократился до квинтета. Материал на этот раз получился среднетемповым (высокие скорости практически отсутствуют) и где-то даже гипнотическим. Зацикливание на несколько тактов одного и того же ритмического рисунка, поверх которого лид-гитара и клавиши пишут, как на холсте, мистические образы – приём, используемый тут практически во всех композициях. Лично мне больше остальных импонируют ритуальная The Killing, трансово-качающая Paranormal States с потусторонними чистоголосыми бэками и шёпотами и объёмный и насыщенный завершающий инструментал Outland. Но в целом удались все 8 композиций.
Вскоре после выхода между участниками коллектива снова начались какие-то разногласия, вследствие которых группа распадается во второй раз. Скорее всего, уже окончательно. Жаль. Тем не менее, трёх полноформатных работ и одного отличного миньона достаточно, чтобы вписать их в историю прог/техно дэта уже на века. 10/12. |
