PAIN: на новом альбоме сыграют музыканты MOTORHEAD, CHILDREN OF BODOM и IN FLAMES
PAIN, шведская команда, возглавляемая лидером HYPOCRISY Петером Тагтгреном, представила публике название своего пятого альбома. Он будет называться “Psalm Of Extinction” и выйдет 18 апреля в северных странах (Roadrunner Records) и 7 мая в Европе. Среди приглашённых музыкантов числятся: Mikkey Dee (MOTORHEAD, ex-DON DOKKEN, KING DIAMOND) в песне “Zombie Slam”; Alexi Laiho (CHILDREN OF BODOM) в песне “Just Think Again” (партии соло-гитары); Anders Iwers (IN FLAMES) в двух песнях (партии бас-гитары). Видео на песню “Zombie Slam” будет снято в Лос-Анджелесе режиссёром Ralf’ом Strathmann’ом. Он уже снимал клипы для CHILDREN OF BODOM, APOCALYPTICA, SOILWORK. Также он работает фотографом у групп HIM, BLINK 182 и AEROSMITH.

Согласно пресс-релизу, новый CD будет лучше спродюсирован и на нем будут более тяжёлые гитары, большое количество клавишных и ещё больше пронизывающего вокала. PAIN в 1999 году подписали контракт с Universal (Stockholm Records). Продажи команды достигли больших тиражей, чему также способствовала активная концертная деятельность вместе с IN FLAMES, TIAMAT, ATROCITY и THEATRE OF TRAGEDY.

С тех пор, как Петер Тагтгрен появился на металлической сцене в начале девяностых годов, он прослыл экстраординарным музыкантом и продюсером. Известный как лидер группы HYPOCRISY, он также занимался активной продюсерской деятельностью, работая с такими командами, как CELTIC FROST, IMMORTAL, DESTRUCTION, DIMMU BORGIR, DARK FUNERAL и MARDUK. Помимо всего этого, он снялся в шведских кино-хитах "Sleepwalker", "Nolltolerans" и "Exit".

Последний альбом PAIN, “Dancing With The Dead”, стартовал сразу на третьм месте в шведских чартах в январе 2005 года. Следующий за “Nothing Remains The Same” (2002), он вышел в европейских странах в марте 2005 года.

звук нетакой прилизанный как на предпоследних альбомах, мож и вправду демуха и после файнал мастеринга будед звучать как Dancing with the dead

Отдельное спасибо за аплоадедтчкту. Респектный хостинг. Хотелось чтоб и впредь!
За что я ещё люблю аплоадед - он докачку поддерживает. Вот щас: тяну новую империю, на 83-ем Мб связь прерывается (а там больше 100 Мб качать). Пытаюсь возобновить - хрен. Опять зашёл по ссылке, новую сгенерил и её скормил менеджеру - процесс возродился!!! Атличнааа!

В принципе альбом неплохой получился, но место ему скорее не на metalarea, а где-то типа на technoarea. Чересчур "прогрессивный" какой-то (IMG:http://metalarea.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
Если я не ошибаюсь трек 06. Pain - [Psalms of Extinction #06] Play dead - это кавер на песню Bjork.
Обидно то, что ни одного 100% хита я тут не обнаружил, если хоть и не уровня Shot Your Mouth 2002 года, то хотя б что-то на уровне Same Old Song 2005-го.
