Предыдущие Yearning если честно мне не так нравились, чтобы я называл их творения шедеврами... Да, музыка очень атмосферна и прекрасна, хороший чистый вокал, мощные рифы... Но в их нотах мне никогда не хватало "плача и горести", да и собственно понятно - ребята играют менее эмоциональный (хотя и БЕЗУМНО красивый) doom в отличии от тех же Saturnus. В общем-то вообще две разные формации. Здесь мы чувствуем не скорбь и романтику, а... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) хм, скорее всего выход из подземелья на свет, радость новой жизни, какой-то круговорот эмоций (как и лиричных, так и сподвигающих на разнообразные действа...) и проникновенное желание постоять под проливным октябрьским дождём!.. Что и говорить - чистый вокал как и всегда радует... Появляющийся временами гроул эту радость приумножает... Альбом кстати тяжелее предыдущих, он более шквальный, так бы я это назвал... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Все треки действительно слушаются как один! Они правда к тому же все немного похожи - фирменная интонация музыки от Yearning как была, так и осталась - сначала нежные акустические переборы, а затем жёсткие среднетемповые гитары под очень величественные клавиши...

От меня 8.5 из 10... - что и говорить, такого уровня далеко не каждый может достигнуть... Но Saturnus мне всё равно ближе... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

Ну что сказать-Шедеврально!Один из лучших релизов 2007 года!Советую всем любителям не только тяжмета а хорошоей мелодичной,меланходичной музыки...Абажаю этот альбом

Кстате очень понравилась звук клавишных и гитарных запилов...может оно конечно и было..но такого звука я мало у кого слышал...кристально чистый как водопад...Блин как всё таки хотелось заменить их клавишника на денек....уау!

С лихвой хватает потрясающего по красоте альбома With Tragedies Adorned. Сколько слушаю - не надоедает. Все последующие, однако, были не менее сильными. За 10 лет Yearning подтянулись, стали основательнее, жёстче, и не побоюсь этого заявления - остались металлом.

Мелодии спрятаны за крепкой стеной ритм-секции, мотивы иногда до того наивны и знакомы (Return), что вспоминаются давнече забытые песенки из детского сада, но реализация до того бескомпромиссная, что другого ничего и не хочешь. А уж этот сырющий гроул... Аххх! век бы слушал! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

В Merging Into Landscapes выдержан баланс между тяжестью и образным наполнением музыки. Да и не музыка это вовсе, это - повествование, картина, книга, положенная на ноты. Слушаешь, смотришь, читаешь - голова работает.
