В общем материал понравился. Немцы играют в диапозоне от Paradise Lost "Gothic" до Paradise Lost "Icon", хотя местами похоже также и на Cemetary, и даже на My Dying Bride. Об оригинальном, неповторимом, уникальном саунде говорить не приходиться (по крайней мере на этой компиляции), но в один ряд с вышеперечисленными командами Darkseed встает прочно.

Изначальный, мясоедский звук Darkseed мне очень по нраву. Сыгранный с толком и расстановкой doom/death в сочетании, украшенный гроулом в сочетании с периодически возникающими нормальным женским вокалом и загробно-отрешенным мужским, красивыми скрипичными партиями и атмосферно-заунывной гитарой, до сих пор слушается с большой охотой. In Broken Images – жемчужина диска. Еще есть на нем козырные A Charm For Sound Sleeping и Atoned For Cries.
